LEAVES
Step 1: Load the no. 12 with Antique Green and basecoat the leaves.
Step 2: Load the toe on a damp 1/2" angle with Plantation Pine and a touch of Paynes Grey; blend on the palette. Float color along the darker side of the leaves and down the center vein. Float the same color under the petals where they meet the leaves that are more buried by the flowers. Soften with a mop brush.
Step 3: Rinse the angle brush, load the toe with Plantation Pine, Matcha Green and Warm White; blend on the palette and float color along the highlighted side of the leaves and on the

opposite side of the center vein. Soften with a mop brush. Letdry.
Step 4: Load the medium Mezzaluna with Matcha Green and Snow (Titanium) White. Mix on palette and wipe almost all of the paint off on a paper towel. Dry-brush a highlight in the center area on the highlighted side of the leaf and then a little on the other side as well.
Step 5: Load a wet liner brush with Plantation Pine and paint a loose āsā stroke on both sides of the leaves. Rinse the brush, load with Matcha Green and Warm White and paint a subtle highlight above the vein lines. Soften with a mop brush if needed.
