I’ve really missed traveling this past year, so on a rainy day I decided to look
thru my photo file and came upon this one that I took on my last Journey Workshop to France. I cropped out everything except what is important to me – the bird and the flower. I have used the flower just as it is but changed the bird to what I think is a more interesting profile. Although you could paint this in any medium, I chose watercolor because it’s so easy to get a softly blended look, the colors just blend themselves! I hope you enjoy this little piece.
