Brian Spaulding is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for
Walt Disney International . He is responsible for providing financial
stewardship for the organization including identifying opportunities to
drive growth , efficiency and effectiveness . During his tenure he has
contributed to the vision , growth and evolution of WDI including its
growth strategies and organizational culture as well its ’ financial
framework , processes and systems .

Brian joined Disney in 1988 as a Senior Auditor in Corporate Management

Audit . Since that time he has served as Director of Finance for KCAL TV
based in Los Angeles ; Director and Controller for The Walt Disney Studios
Asia Pacific based in Korea and Hong Kong ; Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer for Walt Disney Television Asia Pacific based in Hong
Kong ; and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Walt Disney
International Asia Pacific based in Japan . While in Asia , Brian was part of
the leadership team that launched the company ’s first international
Disney Channels in Taiwan and Australia .

Prior to Disney , Brian worked for Coopers and Lybrand and for the
National Broadcasting Company as a Senior Auditor .

Brian is a Board Member and Vice Chairman for the Boys and Girls Club
of Pasadena . He is also an Associate Trustee and past President for the
San Marino Schools Foundation .

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and
Accounting from California State University , Northridge and is a CPA
