desired path. Notwithstanding, the presence of nearly 40% of the batch is a testimony to the
togetherness felt by the ’88-batch and speaks volumes of the persuasive skills of the
management team and others who cajoled each and every one into participating in the event.
I am very thankful to my wife and daughter for allowing me to travel to Hyderabad without them
hooking onto my back, for their own reasons - wifey staying back to give company to the
daughter and the girl, despite her intense desire to come in the hope she would get some tasty

I will be remiss in not thanking my boss who so graciously made a trip abroad just around the
TSB time instead of breathing down my neck for some ‘oh so urgent commitment to be fulfilled

Most of all, thanks are also due to this great 215-year organization symbolized in blue which
was not only the nemesis of this gathering but also provided the means and infrastructure to
make the event possible. Aren’t we proud to be a part of the heritage of this mammoth and the
grand old company we call the State Bank of India?

feeling of camaraderie shall prevail through the WhatsApp groups and nostalgic moments shall
be mollified by scores of pictures and videos posted online and archived for easy use. Time flies

realize.
“Do not be dismayed at good-byes.
A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or after lifetimes,
Is certain for those, who are friends”… (Richard Bach)

thanking all masters of TSB ceremony, it is my time to pen my memoirs with the advantage of
being read by all in peace and with concentration.)
