Conversation : What was that terrible noise?

Jane dropped a stack of plates on the floor because they were too slippery.

Her mother wasn’t at all happy….

Mother : Jane, Oh no! What is going on in the kitchen?

Jane : I’m sorry. I’ve just dropped a stack of plates.
Mother : Were you hurt?

Jane : Fortunately, no. But I’m terribly sorry.

Mother : I’m glad you’re not hurt, but please, you must be careful next time!

Jane : I will. I will. Trust me.
