Once again, the most powerful weapon ‘Divide & Rule’ is used to save the supremacy of the ruling class. The
weapon worked effectively and spreads like a fire among people finally breaking down the unity of the

lower class. This decision of social class division results into a rupture in the society and impacts the
revolution for freedom initiated by Shankar. Shankar and his men feel broken and hopeless. As a result, a
few of Shankar’s men decide not to revolt while Shankar tries to make them understand the conspiracy
planned by the upper class against them but they leave him even separating him and his people from his
best friend Baiju.

Baiju also leaves Shankar for the sake of a normal living. One day, Harpal identifies Baiju, he captures Baiju
and tortures him and helpless Baiju had to help Harpal to reach the Shankar’s hideout. Thakur Uday Pratap
Singh with Harpal and his men attacked Shankar’s place and his people where everyone is killed in the fight
and only Shankar is left alive.

This revolution is an epic of the freedom struggle of the enslaved lower class. The history acknowledges
several unknown revolutions fought by slave heroes for their freedom but the social class division done by
the autocrats still remains in the society.
