Shepparton Tournament in Brief

The Grand Final was a special affair as Team 3 faced off against our Junior Braves
Team 4, both teams taking the opportunity to snap a group photo prior to tip-off. Team
3 raised the bar even further executing their best half court team defense stopping
penetration in to the key, and again moving the ball unselfishly to find their open team

mates. The highlight of the game being a play where the ball travelled the length of
the court via all players without touching the floor - resulting in an open layup. The final
result was a win to Team 3, 51-13. A special congratulations to centre Kobi MacDonald
being awarded Grand Final MVP! An award well deserved.
My thanks go to the players for their relentless effort over the entire six games, our
assistant coach Jason and Team Manager Kylie for their valuable assistance, and the
parents for their ongoing support to all members of our team.
