      GET INTO CHARACTER
Sure, you can always channel James Bond. But as you reboot your wardrobe for the new era ahead, consider this a great chance to take some cues from other style icons. Here are three classic archetypes that made an appearance during the fall/winter fashion shows. Adopt select elements from each to bring some fresh energy to your day-to-day attire.
Celine: The knight in shining chain mail. Medieval times haven’t looked this cool since Heath Ledger in A Knight’s Tale.
Dior: The sensitive artist.
Fuzzy knits reinterpret the evocative canvases of British painter Peter Doig.
Louis Vuitton: The intrepid tourist.
An airplane motif links together kilts, cowboy hats, and other garments with strong geo- graphical ties.

GAME TIME
Whether they’re on the podium or just in the audience, athletes remain some of the best ambassadors for bold watches. Here are the standouts from this summer’s sports season.

   DRESS TO IMPRESS
There’s nothing worse than wearing a great outfit to a restaurant that ends up being disappointingly bland. One way to avoid this situation: make your next reservation at an eatery run by a fashion label. Designed in collab- oration with New York artist Sarah Coleman, Fendi’s summer pop-up café in the Miami Design District was an extension of the personality behind the brand’s recent Summer Vertigo collection, represented with a vibrant ’70s-inspired palette and wavy F monograms repeated on the furnishings. Knowing what Fendi can do with baguettes, here’s hoping they
open a pop-up bakery next.
  ONSCREEN INSPO
Credit to this year’s cinematic standouts for casting runway-worthy fashion as a main character. In fact, the outfits from both of these movies are so good that we started taking notes way back when early set photos were released. Now that they’re both finally available for our full viewing pleasure, it’s time to start incorporating some of their biggest style takeaways in earnest.
