Magazine Interview with K Warner Events
Tell Us a little about yourself, such who you are and what you do?
My name is Kimberly Warner. I grew up in a Christian, single family home with one
sister and one brother for much of my childhood. I graduated college and pursued a
carrier in the criminal justice field, but my passion was to always be my own boss. I
am married to a very loving husband that treats me like a queen. My siblings and I
were taught the value of God’s word, grace and love, which is meant to be our foun-
dation when the road was rough and the going gets tough. Since my mother was
saved, she made sure we were also. I am just like any other person, attempting to
seek a better life full of joy, peace and prosperity. I have never wanted to be better
than or like someone else, just better than what I am every day. I was always raised to
believe that no one will give you anything, you must go out and get it if you want it bad
enough. However, in that same note I learned early on as a business owner that you
can’t do it by yourself. You will always need to stay humble so that someone is en-
couraged to assist you along the way. Soon after marrying my husband, he had a
tragic accident from a fall that left him paralyzed from the neck down, a quadriplegic.
How long have you been in business?
The business started November 2016, right after Thanksgiving
What got you started?
While he was laying in the hospital for months, I knew I had to take over everything
and find a way to help him recover to some of his old self again. That is when I came
up the plan to start K Warner Events.
What kept you going during the difficult times?
I can’t really put my finger on just one thing, but GOD was my strength when I wanted
to quit, when I was frustrated and just thought I was making a mistake. But GOD!
Again! would send someone my way to help me through to the next step to success.
How did you Shut the Fears UP and start your business?
I have never had a spirit of fear, sometimes I just did not know which direction to go. I
knew if I did not start, I would never know if I could be success. My husband always
says,” Nothing beats a try”! and “If it was easy, everybody would be doing it”!
