This project was conducted in the Production Department of the “M.B. Aluminum Ltd.” We identified deficiencies in the production process, conducted a literature survey, measured the product manufacturing time, and determined the optimal number of workers by work sampling. A forecasting model assessed the demand. An optimized inventory policy was determined, relying on the forecasting and ordering costs, towards improving inventory efficiency and product availability. We also implemented workplace improvements based on ergonomic principles.

Mortgage applications or insurance renewals can be cumbersome for customers, requiring multiple documents and repeated form submissions. The goal of “Filez” is to ease this burden by providing a single platform where users can classify, organize, and send the files needed for a given bureaucratic process. Organizations generate a QR code or link for a specific process, and once users scan or click it, “Filez” identifies which documents are relevant, highlights any that are missing and allows the user to send them by their preferred method. By combining automated and manual classification, “Filez” keeps document handling efficient and helps reduce the hassle of traditional paperwork.
