Understanding sperm cell movement in Drosophila melanogaster is important for reproductive research and may contribute to understanding human fertility, since these systems are similar. The female's internal storage organs, such as the spermatheca, present a dense, complex environment for tracking sperm cell movement. Our project, conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University, is developing a DL-based system using “TrackFormer” architecture to detect and track sperm cells in fluorescence microscopy videos. These videos are segmented by frames, manually annotated in “COCO format”, and processed by the model to analyze cell trajectories over time. Our goal is to explore whether it is possible to reliably identify and track single sperm cells under complex biological conditions.

Travel planning is a complex and demanding task due to the multitude of options and personalized constraints. “Dream-Trip AI” is a cutting-edge, smart travel agency website, using advanced natural language processing (NLP) and data analysis to interpret free-text travel queries and specific user requirements. Our system designs dynamic, tailored itineraries by considering factors such as interests, budget, duration, and location preferences, while allowing users to customize and fine-tune their plans interactively. This innovative platform simplifies decision making, enhances user experience, and sets a new standard in personalized tourism. Our project combines technological innovation with practical functionality to transform the way travelers plan their trips. Leveraging state- of-the-art AI techniques, this platform continuously learns from user interactions—improving itinerary suggestions over time.
