What we did
Following our appointment and within a short period of time we identified cashable efficiencies relating to contractors over specifying remedial works. We
identified that Notting Hill were paying on average £700 per property for follow-on works quoted by the service provider. Our review and subsequent
technical management reduced the average price significantly to £500, saving in year one £50,000.
GCS introduced structure and reporting mechanisms for the testing programmes, which monitors contractor’s charges for completing testing submissions.
This close monitoring has further reduced the average remedial costs down to an average £220 per test driving down expenditure year after year.
