Reading has always been very fundamental in today’s society. It has

evolved into many different forms and as technology changes in our

society, reading changes with it. For me, I never viewed myself as a very

big reader as I felt like reading a standard book was unnecessary and a

waste of time. In this course, though, I have learned how complicated

reading truly is and how we as a species have been able to do this fantastic

ability of communication. Also, I’ve learned so much about the many types

or reading and how important it really is in today’s society, albeit being very

different from what it was just a few decades ago.
