Sales and production spell commitment and success
Very British, very successful – Everybody is talking about the outstanding team at Acdoco Limited,
delta pronatura’s British subsidiary. With more than
50 employees on the island, the company is writing exemplary success stories year in, year out. In just  ve years, Acdoco has doubled its turnover and created
a fantastic o ce hub on the edge of Manchester.
The driving force behind this development is the Dr. Beckmann brand. However, it is not only sales that play a signi cant role in Britain: Dr. Beckmann powder products are in fact produced at Acdoco’s production plant in Bolton with the usual cutting-edge know- how and experience, and exported to more than 70 countries.
And as is so often the case, it is the people who
make such an achievement possible. People who demonstrate enormous dedication. People with extraordinary abilities and skills. In Britain too, the team is what makes the di erence every time.
“Sta  satisfaction is sacred here. Each and every person, task, position, job, step and handhold contributes to success”, claimes Director Gareth Edwards in describing his management principle. “If our team doesn’t sell the products, they lie around in storage. And that’s just not meant to happen. That’s not the point.”
What  rst stands out when you meet the team – aside from professionality and friendliness – is humour, their uniquely British humour. So, it has been known to happen that a stubborn partner, reluctant to schedule in a product placement meeting, promptly receives
a cake in the post: a pie with important information about the product and the opportunity missed – How very British indeed.
The British call the Dr. Beckmann bestseller products “millionaires” i.e. products that generate over a million pounds’ turnover in sterling per year. Premiere league club members include the Colour & Dirt Collectors, Washing Machine Hygiene Cleaner and Glowhite. Even the Dr. Beckmann Carpet Cleaner, introduced to the market just 18 months ago, has recently joined the millionaires club in this traditionally carpet-loving country.
Alongside Dr. Beckmann products, Acdoco also sells the Alpecin, BlanX, Biosen, Himalaya, Plantur 39 and Vagisan brands.
The future looks bright according to Edwards: “Even if we introduce additional brands to our product range, Acdoco’s priority will always lie with Dr. Beckmann. This is a matter of both honour and commitment.”
“We specialise in marketing brands at reasonable prices. Of course, we need medial support with heaps of passion and creativity. So, if we get the balance right, we will be able to double turnover again in the next  ve years,“ declares Edwards.
Our British partners are full of fresh ideas. So it happened that they had a cake made to accompany special informa- tion about the unmissable bene ts of a particular product - such actions often prove to be a real „door-opener“!
