Crochet Girl started her crochet career by designing and
crocheting bamboo bikinis and bathing suits! A technique
called tapestry crochet was used, where she would take an
image, convert it into a high contrast black and white photo,
and print it off onto graph paper. This would become her
"crochet chart"

She designed several bikinis and monikins and began
selling them online in her Etsy shop. Soon enough, people
started paying attention, and one person in particular, a
set designer for a popular online magazine called
A Green Beauty, spotted Crochet Girl's work.
This particular bikini, "Eye of the White Tiger"
was chosen to be featired in the magazine's
upcoming photo shoot titled Adult Swim.

Crochet girl has moved on since the days of
bikinis and swimwear, but will still custom make Eye of the White Tiger Crochet
