RESOLUTION

June 6, 2018

WHEREAS, the Texas Police Association is concluding its 119th Annual Training
Conference in Denton, Texas; and

WHEREAS, Raul Vargas has retired as the Executive Director of the Association on
December 31, 2017, after one year of dedicated service to the Association. We have flourished
under his leadership for the betterment of law enforcement throughout the State of Texas; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the members and attendees of the Texas Police
Association’s 119th Annual Training Conference express our sincere appreciation for his year of
service and support to our Association.
