RAIN ARCH MANUAL

                       Introduction

We have created three rain arch manifolds. There is a 100-hole, a 200-hole and a 300-hole manifold to
choose from. We have also created four mounting styles as follows:
                            • Single Universal Arch Mount • Square 4 x 4 Arch Mount
                            • Double Universal Arch Mount • Ceiling Mounted
The Rain Arch manifolds are manufactured using 1-1/2”, 16 gauge stainless steel tubing whereas the
holes are laser cut at a .055 thousandths diameter. They are sold based on the required gallons per minute
                           the customer is looking for.
Note: If you have a desire to control flow rate beyond that of local water pressure, you should
install some type of field-supplied ball-valve in-line to each manifold.
The 100-hole manifold has 100 laser cut holes down the center of the manifold. It delivers between 2 to
                           6 gallons per minute.
The 200-hole manifold has 200 laser cut holes staggered down the center of the manifold. It delivers
between 5 to 10 gallons per minute.

The 300-hole manifold has 300 laser cut holes staggered down the center. It delivers between 10 to 20
                           gallons per minute.
There three options give the customer the ability to choose whatever manifold fits their need such as
Rinse, wax applicator, R.O. water, etc.
As stated earlier there are four mounting styles that allows the Rain Arch to be installed almost anywhere
in your tunnel. A more detailed description of the choices is listed below:
Single Universal Arch Mount - Allows a single Rain Arch manifold to be mounted just off center of a
Belanger Universal Arch on the exit side. This allows the top nozzles of the Universal Arch to continue
                           to be used.
Double Universal Arch Mount - Allows up to two Rain Arch manifolds to be mounted off of the
Belanger Universal Arch on the exit side. This allows the top nozzles of the Universal Arch to continue
                           to be used.
Square 4 x 4 Arch Mount – This mount will clamp to any arch made from 4” x 4” square tubing. It can
hold up to three Rain Arch manifolds.
We have made available a standard Aluminum Arch made using 4” x 4” tubing.
Ceiling Mount – This configuration gives the ability to mount up to three Rain Arch manifolds from the
ceiling anywhere along the length of the tunnel.

The method used to hang the frame must be field determined and field supplied.
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize you with the way that a component is installed.
The “Installation” section will be used in conjunction with the location diagram. These combined are
                           your guides to proper installation.
The “Maintenance” section will be used to make sure you can keep your carwash component looking and
                           functioning like new.
Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the importance
of the appearance of a car wash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the equipment clean will not
only make the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example to your customer to keep their
equipment (their vehicle) clean as well. Replacing the cleaning material in your tunnel as necessary will
also help the image of your wash and keep the customer coming back.
Read through the entire manual to familiarize you with the product before installation. When installation
is completed, you will want to keep this manual as a guide to proper maintenance.
