Water Pulsations Loss of Oil
Foreign object lodged in pump valve. External seepage.
Loss of prime in hydraulic cells because of low oil level. Rupture of diaphragm.
Air in suction line. Frozen pump.
Valve spring (14) broken. Diaphragm screw O-ring (20) missing or cracked.
Cavitation. Worn shaft seal.
Aeration or turbulence in supply tank. Oil drain piping or fill cap loose.
Valve Wear Valve plate and manifold bolts loose.
Normal wear. Premature Failure of Valve Spring or Retainer
Cavitation. Cavitation.
Abrasives in the fluid. Foreign object in the pump.
Valve incompatible with corrosives in the fluid. Pump running too fast.
Pump running too fast. Spring/retainer material incompatible with fluid being pumped.
Excessive inlet pressure.
