Installation

Installing the Booms

1) Locate the two Boom Assemblies and determine the driver side from the passenger side
weldments. Use the image below to assist you. The Booms have Pivot-Posts secured to the
top and bottom of them but keep in mind that the lower bolts will be replaced later. They are
used at this point to ease the assembly process.

2) Locate the four Boom-Shaft Bearings shown below.

3) Slide the Bearings over the Shafts as shown below. Make sure the grease fitting face the
exit of the tunnel. Snug the set-screws on the bottom bearings to hold them in place until
installed correctly. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SET-SCREWS ON THE BEARINGS AT THIS
POINT.

Apply Anti-Seize™ the Shafts
before installing the Bearings
