UNIARCH

            Introduction

            Overview
Congratulations on your purchase of the Belanger, Inc. UNIARCH. The purpose of this manual is
to familiarize you with the way that the UNIARCH is installed, the various ways in which it can
operate, and how to maintain it after installation.
The Installation section will be used in conjunction with specification sheets, location diagrams,
Arch Configuration sheets, and the UNIARCH drawings. All of these combined are your guide to
                installation.

The Maintenance sections will be used to make sure you can keep your car wash component
                looking and running like new.
Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the
importance of the appearance of a car wash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the
equipment clean will not only make the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example to
your customer to keep their equipment (their automobile) clean as well. Replacing the cloth as
necessary, will also help the image of your wash and keep the customer coming back.
Read through the entire manual to familiarize yourself with the UNIARCH before installation.
When installation is completed, you will want to keep this manual as a guide to proper
                maintenance.
The new UNIARCH is available in seven colors, and comes with stainless steel fittings. The
main arch is constructed with 1-1/2” schedule 40 stainless steel pipe. Nozzle holes are “flo-
drilled” and tapped for a 1/4”npt thread. This arch is foam covered in the purchased color, high
quality, UV protective, 4-3/8” OD foam. There is a decorative molded cover over the fittings, with
a “Belanger” decal on both sides. The arch has 12 nozzles and uses current Belanger nozzle
                kits.

The models with stainless steel fittings, are approved to operate up to 1000 PSI, as well as with
RO water, and approved acid and alkaline based chemicals. A 3/4”npt fitting and hose barb are
included for the normal supply feeds. The feeds are in the center of the arch for optimum and
balanced flow. A Belanger reclaim unit can be used with the UNIARCH as an economical, high
volume Flooder Arch. A Belanger Jet Pumping Station (JPS), can be purchased to supply the
                arch at high pressure.
