H2AIR ARCH
Introduction
Overview
The H2AIR® Arch is a rinsing and defoaming arch positioned at the end of a tunnel wash. It uses Top Flip
Air Cannon™ DryLite™ Dryers and low pressure water to efficiently remove any foam remaining on the
vehicle.
The H2AIR Arch has a dual regulator Air Panel with a 4-way pneumatic valve that operates the Top Flip
Assembly and requires one programmed output from the system controller. The default home position of
the Top Manifolds and Dryers is 20° toward the entrance of the tunnel. The speed at which the Top
Assembly rotates is user defined and can be adjusted by changing the air pressure on the Air Panel or
the Control Valves on the Cylinder. The system controller will activate the 4-way pneumatic valve and
rotate the Top Assembly 20° toward the exit of the tunnel.
The H2AIR® Arch frame utilizes an engineered aluminum structure designed especially for Belanger®
equipment. Each Leg Assembly has two spray manifolds; one manifold is positioned to have the spray
nozzles at an angle of 25° toward the entrance and in the other manifold the nozzles are at an angle of
25° toward the exit of the tunnel. The Top Assembly also has two spray manifolds that rotate with the Top
Flip Assembly. Together the Leg Manifolds and Top Manifolds provide a complete rinising on all of the
surfaces of the vehicle.
In order to maximize rinsing and drying on rear surfaces, Belanger® recommends setting the manifold
rotation toward the exit of the tunnel early enough that the water direction can also be concentrated on
the back of the vehicle mirrors. An Airis® Air Cannon™ Dual Kit, an air flow management systerm with
rapid max-airflow delivery, is included with the H2AIR® Arch and will provide quick and efficent removal
of foam from the vehicles.
The H2AIR® Arch also features RGB LED-illuminated spray manifolds in the Leg and Top Assemblies
and Air Cannon™ Dryer Housings.
