The Sport and PE Curriculum
Sport plays a major part in the curricular, co-curricular and social life of the College. We truly believe that Sport for all and Elite Sport can co-exist!
Seaford College Sports Department aims to create a visionary, student- centred environment that fosters: enjoyment, inclusivity, hard work, creativity, competition, resilience (GRIT), decision making and reflection.
We aim to develop independent learners that can adapt to the constantly changing landscape of modern sport, ensuring each student achieves their own personal best via the Seaford Sporting pathway.
We believe development drives performance and that through our sporting pathway, students will learn personal qualities and attitudes that will help them not just on the sports field but in life itself.
Seaford Prep Sport
At Seaford we understand that children will have different sporting abilities and ambitions. We aim to support all our students in their sporting endeavours through fun and engaging lessons. We believe that the benefits of engaging in sporting activities are far and wide reaching, with children developing skills and knowledge beyond just the sporting realm. If we can help children to find the enjoyment in sport then we hope that they will embrace this passion and continue to participate in regular activity through their lives beyond Seaford College.
