Death Certificates
A Certified Death Certificate is
necessary before anything can be
done by the funeral home. For any
legal matters that you may encounter,
a funeral director will supply you with
a funeral director’s statement of death.
Funeral directors will provide multiple
copies as most agencies require such
legal documentation.
If you require a certified death
certificate, you must personally apply
for one through vital statistics. Your
funeral director can aid you through
the steps required to do so.
