Our Construction Plans

Front Elevation Project Highlights

                 • The project is a complete knock down and rebuild on our existing
165 4th Street NW location. The house design has been developed
by a combined team of 6 alumni and 6 actives working with Hug &
                     Associates.

                 • The new house will be developed in the Collegiate Gothic style, but
with contemporary industrial steel detailing. This style will relate
well to the academic architecture of the Georgia Tech East Campus,
but with a high-tech, contemporary flair.

                 • The house will incorporate several features that will distinctly brand
it as Delta Sigma Phi, including the lower terrace welcome plaza, the
first floor welcome bridge, enlarged front terrace and lawn space, 14
foot vaulted chapter room ceilings, open air design integrating the
chapter room and brother’s lounge with the front terrace via three
large French doors, and a second floor front balcony.

                 • The three-floor design will provide living space for 42 brothers with
a 33% increase in average bedroom size.

                 • Enhanced social and group study areas on all floors will facilitate
                     fellowship and academic achievement.

                 • Enhanced space will support on-premises preparation and serving of
                     meals to the brotherhood.

                 • The ground level welcome plaza (equipped with elevator) and the
first floor alumni lounge will provide welcoming accommodations
                     for alumni visits and gatherings.

“The Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Sig has been very important in the lives of my family. When I pledged in 1975, I was looking for
sports, brotherhood, and social events. I ended up meeting my wife, a Tech student and Little Sister. Fast forward to 2006, and our oldest
son goes to Tech and pledges Delta Sig . . . and meets his future wife, a Tech student. Then our youngest went to Tech in 2012, saying
there was only one fraternity he wouldn’t join :-) Yet after Rush, he said there was only one calling to him — Delta Sig. So he pledged,
and just finished as chapter president. What’s been the most fun to watch is how the details have changed a lot in 40 years, but the
brotherhood feels and remains the same. We alumni owe it to our successors to let them have as great a fraternity experience as we did.”
