Election Judge Leave
Team Members who are appointed to serve as an election judge will be granted leave to serve. Team Members taking leave will be paid the difference between their normal rate of pay and the amount paid for services as an election judge. Team Members must provide the organization with at least 20 days advance written notice of their need for leave. The written request to be absent from work must be accompanied by a certification from the appointing authority stating the hourly compensation to be paid the Team Member for service as an election judge and the hours during which the Team Member will serve.
Political Activity Leave
Team Members who are members of the state central committee or executive committee of a major political party or a delegate or alternate delegate of a convention of a major political party, may take unpaid leave to attend any meetings or convention; including meetings of official convention committees. Team Members must give at least ten days' advance written notice to the organization of his or her need for leave under this policy.
