Exempt Team Members may be provided time off with pay when necessary to comply with state and federal wage and hour laws.
School Visitation Leave
Team Members who work an average of at least one half the hours of full-time status are allowed up to 16 hours of leave without pay, during a 12-month period, to attend school conferences or school-related activities related to the Team Member's child, including foster child, that cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. This leave may also be used for child care, pre- kindergarten or special education program attendance. Team Members may use any accrued paid vacation or other paid leave time available for any unpaid leave taken under this policy.
