Victims of Crime Leave
The organization will grant reasonable and necessary leave from work, without pay, to Team Members who are victims of a crime to attend or participate in legal proceedings pertaining to the crime. The organization will also grant reasonable time off from work without pay to a Team Member who is the spouse or the next of kin of a victim of a violent crime to attend or participate in legal proceedings related to the crime.
Affected Team Members must give the organization reasonable notice that leave under this policy is required.
Exempt Team Members may be provided time off with pay when necessary to comply with state and federal wage and hour laws.
