LETTERS TO MY SON
may sound like an anachronism in today’s world of
tweets and short messages. Yet, in the uncertainty
that shrouds the prevalent times, it is of substantive
importance to go back to the origins to assess our
journey as humankind, and what better way to do that
than through writing a letter in the old-fashioned way.
By its very character, letters reflect a single moment
in time and experience and hence preserving them
is akin to preserving life itself. By this measure, this
compilation comprises essential reading because it
enlightens our past, enriches our understanding of the
present and elucidates the possibilities of tomorrow.
