GENERAL INFORMATION

HANDICAPS
The committee will use handicaps for Ivanhoe members as of
July 1st. USGA handicaps will be used and adapted to our
slope rating. Our professional staff will be contacting the
guests’ clubs to confirm all handicaps. If the guests are
associated with two or more clubs, their lowest handicap
must be used.
There will not be a 10 shot maximum difference between
member and guest as in the past. All participants will
play to their official handicap.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will be conducted in twelve flights of six
teams each, according to combined handicaps. Each team
will play a nine hole match against every other team in his
flight. Crystal will be awarded to the winners of each flight.

In addition, an overall winner will be determined in a “Shoot
Out” upon completion of Saturday’s fifth match. The shoot
out will begin at approximately 3:00 pm and all players are
encouraged to cheer on their flight champion.
