Long Double Connection Knot
This modified knot differs slightly from the basic double connection knot in that
more flat knots are tied into each other along the central axis.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Tie each cord end into a flat knot and hook them up. Then pull the right cord
end downwards through the left cord section and tie an ear loop clockwise around it.
Continue upwards, passing the cord over itself (i.e. the right cord section) and tying
a flat knot. Step 2. Starting from the bottom right, weave the left cord end all the way
around the figure of 8 formed by the right cord, then pull the left cord end down-
wards through both holes in the figure 8. Step 3. Pull the cord loop and both cord
ends vertically outwards to tighten the knot.
HINT
Keep in mind the desired size of the top loop or the space between the long double
connection knot and the next one to be tied, as the case may be. These will become
much larger than they seem to be before tightening.
