Horizontal Plafond Knot
This consists of two flat knots tied horizontally into swastika knots, with the knot
body tightened vertically.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Steps 1, 2. Hook up two opposing flat knots, pulling the loops and cord ends tightly
outwards from the center. Step 3. Pull the top outer loop of the knot downwards
towards the cord ends, making sure that the left side of the top loop passes over the
left outer loop and the right side of the top loop passes under the right outer loop.
Step 4. Tie each cord end into a flat knot with the pulled down cord section. Pass the
left cord end over the pulled down top loop, behind the left outer loop and up
through the left part of the top loop. Pass the right cord end under the pulled down
top loop, in front of the right outer loop and up through the right part of the top
loop. In this way, both flat knots will separately wrap around the left and right outer
loops. Step 5. Tighten the knot outwards vertically.
