Heritage Day

This national holiday is celebrated by focusing on different traditions and

cultures and highlighting the different languages, cuisine and entertainment.

We decided to dress in our authentic traditional attire and had each person

explain who wears which outfit, as well as when it is traditionally worn. After

that, we had a cook-off where each team had to cook a traditional dish that

was then presented to a panel of judges. The winning team was the

Rainbow Nation.

This was done not only to educate one another on the different cultures

within our workspace but also to have a bit of fun within our depot.
