The first joy of Mary was her woman’s joy
to see her Blessed Baby Son
on Christmas born.
Mary’s further joys
were to see her Son
make the lame to walk,
to make the blind to see,
to make the unloved loved,
to make the young and old
safe and secure,
to comfort the sick
and make the dead to rise.
Mary’s seventh joy
was that her Son
carried her to heaven.
Glory to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
