Chapter 2


                                                     Loading Process



               The following give you a general understanding of what it looks like to prepare for a job.


               Prep:

                   •  Call for dispatch a day in advanced from broker or contractor.
                   •  You then receive dispatch via text.

                   •  You map out location the night before.




               Day of job:

                   1.  Head to location an hour in advanced for your truck to be staged with other trucks
                       waiting to be loaded.
                   2.  Proceed to excavator, once called by the excavator operator usually with the beep of his

                       horn.
                   3.  You’re dump trailer will then be loaded. Once you’re done being loaded, they will honk
                       the horn for you to leave.
                   4.  After loaded and before you leave site, the contractor will usually Hand you dump
                       tickets.

                   5.  Once at the confirmed designated site, hand then dump ticket address broker or
                       contractor’s account.

                 You must fill out bill of lading or job rendering so broker or contractor can pay for services.
