GLOSSARY












                               Oily (adj)           :  feeling, tasting, smelling or looking like oil
                               Pot (n)              : a deep round container used for cooking things in
                               Pour (v)             :  to  make  a  liquid  or  other  substance  flow  from  a
                                                    container in a continuous stream, especially by holding
                                                    the container at an angle

                               Preheat (v)          :  preheat  something to  heat  an  oven  to  a  particular
                                                    temperature before you put food in it to cook

                               Put (v)              :  to move something into a particular place or position
                               Serve (v)            :  to  give  somebody  food  or  drink,  for  example  at  a
                                                    restaurant or during a meal
                               Soak (v)               :  to  put  something  in  liquid  for  a  time  so  that  it
                                                    becomes completely wet; to become completely  wet in
                                                    this way

                               Stir (v)             : to mix a liquid or other substance by moving an object
                                                    such as spoon in a circular pattern

                               Squeeze (v)          :  squeeze  (something) to  press  something,  especially
                                                    with your fingers

                               Tie (v)              :  to  attach  or  hold  two  or  more  things  together  using
                                                    string,  rope,  etc.;  to  fasten  somebody/something  with
                                                    string, rope, etc.
                               Wrap (v)             :  to  cover  something  completely  in  paper  or  other
                                                    material, for example when you are giving it as a present
