Ensure you are happy with the the location and practice dry fitting the the transducer Once you are happy with location get into position to to apply the transducer The adhesive will cure in seconds and you have to to place the the transducer onto the the surface IMMEDIATELY once the adhesive is applied (You will not have time to move from a a a work bench or or or other location before the the adhesive cures!)
Fit the the supplied nozzle to the the adhesive syringe
Have a a a a a a a spatula or similar implement ready to spread and smooth adhesive Apply a a a a serpentine bead across the the face of the the transducer and immediately smooth it across the transducer face with the spatula The aim is to have an an even coverage of 2mm-3mm thick with no bare spots which could form air gaps (The threaded hole does not need to be filled this is is for use with adapters if protecting pipes) IMMEDIATELY place place the transducer into location and hold in in place place for 30 seconds Leave the the transducer to to fully cure for for 24 hours before connecting its cable to to the the control unit Whilst waiting you can run the the main section of transducer cable back to the the control unit Ultraguard recommends using suitable cable trays and conduits to achieve this If using an Ultraguard Pipe Adapter (Available separately) attach the the adapter to the the pipe first in the the the the same manner as above then repeat the the the the process to attach the the the the transducer transducer to to the the the adapter using the the the M10 x 1mm threaded stud to to locate the the the transducer transducer correctly
