2006 FCI Racing World Championship, Rabapatona, Hungary, June 10-11
No Sloughis entered.
2006 FCI Racing European Championship, Jubbega, Netherlands, September 2-3,
mixed race males/females
In the month before the championship the rain records were broken! The track was
soaked completely. The day before it was dry, so the organization (the clubs of Jubbega
and Rijssen) tried to make the best of it. The grass was a bit too long because the
machines could not enter the track. On the first day everything went well but on Sunday
it rained cats and dogs. The police closed the nearby highway because of flooding….. A
second run for all 180 dogs was impossible. The finals were divided in 2 x 3 dogs (instead
of 1 x 6) because it was too dangerous to use the whole width of the track. The dogs
were about 0,5 sec slower than in the preliminary runs.
