Tbourida had never left the farm before and
only worn a collar with leash a few times just
for the purpose to have tried it on before
her long journey.
Nor had she experienced a furnished house
and naturally not learned ANY house rules
but was extremely skilled in how to
entertain herself and the rest of the pack.
Imagine the size of a 10 months old Sloughi
on a level of education of an 8-week-old
puppy. It was a hard time to tell her about
the differences between people’s things and
dog toys, kitchen counters and dogs bowls
among everything else a house dog needs to
know. Tbourida is very friendly, a super social
Sloughia who loves people and most dogs.
But the always so sweet, curious and truly She and our cats are good friends and
innocent face together with a personality especially the young cat loves to play tag
that is always happy-go-lucky helped me with Tbourida and finds the other dogs
from going bonkers. quite boring. She is without fears and
stress, no issues with any environments or
situations. A fast learner and she is now a
pleasant house and family dog.
When she arrived to the North during the
end of October the winter was not yet
here but when the snow came, she was
really happy, she ran and played for hours
- chasing snowflakes falling in the dark
was a true joy to her.
She tried the racetrack and beginners
coursing, and she loved it. The plan is to
get her lure coursing license as soon as
possible and let her do her show debut this
year. We continue to enjoy her as she
matures and look forward continuing to
plan for her future motherhood.
