As the Human Resources Director of La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino, I recognize Rufina
Orman, Administrative Assistant, as the Employee of the Year nominee for the AHATA

Excellence Award 2019.

Rufina Orman started 17 years ago as an Account Receivable Clerk and has developed
herself into the successful Administrative Assistant she is today. Following, find the career
journey of Rufina Orman at La Cabana:

Hired on January 28, 2002 Account Receivable Clerk
Promoted January 1, 2004 Maintenance Fee Clerk
Promoted July 1, 2011 Credit Assistant
Promoted November 1, 2016 Administrative Assistant

Rufina is a valued associate and has a pleasant and professional demeaner. She plays a very
essential role in her department. She is extremely loyal, ethical, dedicated, well organized,
detailed oriented, trustworthy, agile, a team player and for years has consistently exceeded
her performance expectations. Rufina is the go-to person in our Accounting department and
very well-liked by her peers. She is always ready and prepared to provide personalized service
to both her internal/external guests with a big smile.

Rufina also has a strong passion for her community as well as sports. She often participates
in Sponsor a Mile, Coastal Cleanup and many community projects sponsored by La Cabana.
Her passion for Volley Ball is noticeable in all tournaments that La Cabana partakes in.

Her enthusiasm, positivity, integrity, work ethics, and knowledge have contributed to several
nominations for the Associate of the Month award and up to the most prestige Associate of
the Year 2018 award.

I hereby endorse Rufina Orman our Administrative Assistant, for the Aruba Excellence
Award – Employee of Year 2019.
