AHATA Excellence Awards

On Saturday, November 23, 2019 the prestigious annual AHATA Excellence Awards Ceremony took place at The
Ritz Carlon Aruba. After months of preparation, interviews, and anticipation, the big night finally arrived. La Cabana
Beach Resort and Casino was represented by Associate of the Year nominee, Rufina Orman, Supervisor of the Year
nominee, Jeanette Brooks and Sustainability Champion nominee, Frank Sabajo.
All 3, are exemplary associates at La Cabana and well deserving of the prestigious AHATA Excellence Award.

Celebrating this evening and major accomplishment with them, La Cabana's Executive Committee,
General Manager, Joe Najjar, Assistant General Manager, Jessica Franken, Human Resources Director
Tessely Koolman, Chief Engineer, Daniel Aguirre, F&B Director, Pierre Kock, Director of Finance, Paula Huisman as
well as Aichel Lynch, Activities Manager supporting the nominees.

A special ceremony it was recognizing the hard work and talent of many hospitality professionals on our happy
island.
The evening became even more special when La Cabana's very own Safety and Environmental Manager, FRANK
SABAJO was awarded the AHATA Excellence Award 2019 for Sustainability Champion.

Bringing one of the trophy's home was an excellent way to end the evening and another successful year at La
Cabana.
We are so very proud of all 3 our nominees and wish them continued success and excellence in their careers!
