UK Port - Health Authority Data Requirements
In order to import chocolates into the United Kingdom, the port health authority require to know the information detailed below;
The dairy ingredients contained in this consignment such as; skimmed milk powder, lactose, flavour (milk), pasteurised milk, butter, milk fat, milk, pasteurised milk, yoghurt powder and whole milk powder
1. Which, if any, of the items contain Whey.
2. Confirm the pH value of the whey and the pasteurisation
treatment process details for the whey which will be used
for whey powder production.
3. The country of origin of the skimmed milk powder, lactose,
flavour (milk), pasteurised milk, butter, milk fat, milk, pasteurised milk, yoghurt powder and whole milk powder ingredients.
4. Details of all the heat treatments (with pH) the raw milk underwent (including any desiccation steps if applicable) during the manufacture of the skimmed milk powder, lactose, flavour (milk), pasteurised milk, butter, milk fat, milk, pasteurised milk, yoghurt powder and whole milk powder ingredients
The above information must be submitted on the
manufacturer / supplier letter-headed paperwork and be dated and signed.
