Mathematics with Statistics

               Aims: To further develop mathematical and statistical knowledge. To enhance the ability to
               communicate mathematical and statistical ideas.

               Competencies: Problem Solving and Modelling; Mathematical and Statistical Thinking;
               Mathematical and Statistical Communication; Technological Skills.

               Pathways this course contributes towards: Entry into the Level 3 Mathematics with
               Statistics course. A career pathway in data analysis, communications, health or business.

               Other essential information: A prerequisite is competency shown in Level 1 Mathematics
               and Statistics standards. There is an opportunity for subject endorsement. A graphics
               calculator eg Casio fx-9750GAPLUS is required.
