DECISION

Decision making is a vital part of our life. This is because what we are
today largely depending on decision we took in the past. Similarly whatever
It is not possible to reverse the wrong decisions taken in the past but it MAKING
happens tomorrow will be a result of the decision we make in the present.

is possible to train ourselves into becoming a good decision maker for the
future. If we don’t, we’ll end up doing what we have always done and thus
get what we always got. All sorts of decisions big or small, relevant or irrel-
evant, conscious or unconscious-punctuate our lives. Sometime we don’t
even realize that we are taking a decision.
To enhance our decisions making we must first of all gather as much
information as possible about that issue before we make our decision. We
might be heading for a failure if our decision is based on half baked infor-
mation. If you have a lot of guiding principles for your life, decision making
becomes a lot easier. For example, if you value integrity and honesty and
consider them to vital importance you will never waver. Let’s all take good
decisions in our lives to make it more fruitful.

my one and only enemy

The biggest difficulty we are facing now may not be global warming or over population but it
might actually be how we’re losing time because once it starts moving forward there is no turn-
ing back. The thing about time is that once it’s lost its lost forever.
Time makes us wonder about the past, focus on the present and dream about the future. It
may have given us all the memories that we possibly remember and will give the ones that all yet

XI-A to come but it is also the one that changes all our hellos to goodbyes. Have you ever wondered
“what if I could go back?”, perhaps to bring back the people we lost, to make the choices you
never dared to make or just to experience the happier things twice. From whichever angle you
look, it’s just a curse which cannot be reversed. Every second that keeps going forward, making
us just a second older until we are nothing but lifeless.
So it is possible to make time our friend? Even though it takes away things that we wish it
wouldn’t, it can be an acquaintance nothing more and nothing less.
Sure, time flies but use that time in a way you wouldn’t regret. So, don’t ever say may be later
or that there is still time because you will only realize it when it is too late.
We’re like living sandglasses with a fixed but different amount of sand so just remember that
time flies but you are the pilot.
