This is the 21st century, A male nanny?
A new world to see and explore, A female CEO?
Where there is advancement in every single thing, Why are these things so out of the ordinary?
BUT STILL! This is the 21st century,
We haven’t paced up at one thing, And still there are people struggling for a world of equalists and
Which is that women MATTER. peace

A boy can’t cry, MYP -4
A girl can’t and a boy grows up to make business,
While a girl is to marry off a right man, One Chance
Why to judge and assume?
They are just two genders! You tell me you see me less,
You tell me I can’t shine,
This is the 21st century, When we try to stand before you,
Girls are not to be seen after dark, You throw us away like we’re trash.
Why may you ask? You treat us like shadows,
It’s because of the fear of being assaulted and raped, Not realizing you came into this world because of us,
Why to live in a world, Instead of a man, you’re just a wuss,
Where you don’t feel safe? High time you treat us equal and not less.
Pains to see me less than you,
This is the 21st century, Pains to see us hurt,
Men and women are still not treated EQUALLY, It pains that you get what you want,
Why live in a society where it decides what roles we should play? And here I am struggling more than you.
How should we think,
What appropriate clothes we should wear, Mothers can do more than cook,
Women can do more than clean,
All based on GENDER!
WORDS 2020 -21 This is the 21st century, Give us a chance, WORDS 2020 -21
Girls can do more than help in the house,
And the old social construction,
We won’t disappoint.
Where society wasn’t that open to freedom and rights,
