Oceans Beckon   Decaying Automatons

 Always changing, continuously  Upon the blessed day it was designed,
 Regularly and unplanned  A beautiful tangle of wires and screws
 Full of sound and   Certainly, it was assigned
 silent at the same time  To a life that would amuse
 reassuring my soul
 here I sit breathing in these  With twisted joints and rusted gears,
 merry breeze   The story of its life had begun
 with nothing to seize  To crawl, to walk, to run
 doing as its pleased  To live without its fears
 who knew that salty water
 can create something this sweet.  As the world moved on,
        And the years flew by
 Eklavya Gupta  It learned how to live

        A cruel trick of fate,
 Equality Takes The Victory   a flaw in its scheme
        Was all it would take
 We are told there are only two genders  To end up in steam
 Men better than the other
 Which isn’t true  A cry for help with no sign of aid
 It’s just one stereotype after another   Surely its story was finished
 We can be whoever we want to  To the gears from which it had been made
 Male, female, gender neutral  Its decaying body had diminished.
