At some point in our lives, we yearn for a dire need to
grow—may it be in our careers, relationships, or even
as a person. Mig Molina is at that point of moving forward
with his life. He recently moved out of his parents’ house and
to settle in this 65-square meter unit he could finally call
his own.

Before purchasing the unit, the bachelor already pictured
out the kind of space he wanted to achieve: an airy, industrial
Industrial living space. After several years of working hard and saving up,
Mig now has his dream living space right in his hands.
With the help of interior designers Ais Simbulan and
Judith Ochengco of Oasis Interiors, the unit was transformed
Oasis into a rough and textured space. “Our design firm is named
Oasis Interiors because we aim to build homes for our clients
which will be their own oasis,” shares the duo.
The owner initially wanted his living space to mimic the
style of the rustic, industrial coffee shops. However, since
the unit is a residential space and not a commercial one,

materials. “It’s going to be his home so we wanted it to be very
industrial as it gets
relaxing. We had to balance it with smooth surfaces and textures
and played with a lot of natural materials to make it homey,”
