Stewardship

The Municipality will advance environmental stewardship through heightened

awareness and incorporation of sustainability elements within core operations and

capital projects.

Projects Include:

1. RENEWABLE ENERGY
 Apply for FCM Climate Change Staff Grant
 Apply for FCM Green Municipal Funds
 Apply for Low Carbon Communities Funding
 Apply under the Electricity for Community Buildings Program

2. WIND POWER
 Application for use of Crown Land
 Confirm Provincial License Agreement
 Installation of meteorological towers
 Council decision on way forward

3. SOLAR POWER
