We would go into the University of Texas from time to time for events. It was
a large, beautiful campus with very imposing buildings. We loved to scamper
about the campus. We attended a play on-campus in a very small theater,
“Jack and the Beanstalk.”To this day I do not know how they managed to get
a live horse on the stage or how Jack could just climb, climb, climb the
beanstalk without ever running into the ceiling up above! I guess some
things are destined to remain mysteries! When our father's sabbatical was
over, the three of us kids returned with him to Puerto Rico while our mother
remained at the University of Texas to continue work on her Master’s degree.
