IRSTC 2017 and RESPEX 2017 Coordinator - Indonesia

Distinguished Experts, researchers, professors and students, as well as ladies and gentlemen.
Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi wabaraktuh.

By praising God the Almighty for his blessing and grace, please allow me on this happy occasion to deliver

Welcome speecch on The International Confrence, named Innovative Research in Science, Technology and

Culture.

The conference held at Port Dickson Polytechnic is the fourth convention. The first conference was held in

December 2010 in Jakarta, bringing the theme of New and Renewable energy. The second conference was

held in Serpong in November 2013, the location of a research center near Jakarta. At the second
conference, the theme was the Innovative Research in Science, Technology and Culture. Meanwhile, the

third conference is held in Banda Aceh in November 2015. The host for the first to third conference is the

National Institute of Science and Technology (ISTN), Jakarta.

At the time of the third conference in Banda Aceh, in order to extend the scope and establishment of

international cooperation, not only as a conference participant, but also as a host of conferences, a

consortium is formed. Consortium members are individuals or universities who are keenly involved in

international co-operation in field of research and conferences, as a place to exchange information from
inovative research that is being done. The consortium is named MANU-SEA. Presently, members of the

consortium are experts from various universities from Indonesia, Malaysia and Germany.

Therefore, this fourth conference is the first convention held by the consortium in collaboration with Port

Dickson Polytechnic, Malaysia. On this occasion we thank you for the highest level of appreciation
