Adventures of Aimi
“I like cell phones, Grami,” said Aimi. “I can talk to my friends anywhere.”
Grami smiled. “You can talk to your friends if you have cell reception, if there is a signal available between
both phones.”
“I know,” said
Aimi. “Sometimes there is no signal. No signal means no cell re- re- re- what?”
“Reception,” repeated Grami.
“I told Toni about Peacock screeching but I did not screech,” said
Aimi.
“That was a
good choice,” said Grami. “Loud noises can hurt a person’s
ears. Do you want to call Connor now?” “Oh, yes,” said Aimi.
“Hello,” said Aimi. “Is this Connor?”
“Yes,” said Connor.
“This is Aimi.”
“I know,” said Connor. “I recognized your voice.” Aimi laughed. “Grami and I are at the Bird Zoo. We
are having an adventure. Where are you?” “At the beach,” said Connor.
